This policy explains what information the Esports Score mobile app ("the app") and its backend service process, why, and what choices you have. It applies to the app on Android and iOS and to this website.
1. Who we are
Esports Score is developed and operated by Mert Arslan ("we", "us"). For any privacy question or request, contact us at support@esportscore.app.
2. Information we process

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, precise location, photos or payment information. The app has no user accounts.
3. How we use it and legal basis
- To provide the service you request — showing matches for your games and teams and sending the notifications you enabled (performance of a contract / providing the requested service).
- To protect the service against abuse, for example by rate-limiting requests (legitimate interest).
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling or automated decision-making, and we do not sell it.
4. Service providers
We use a small number of providers who process data on our behalf:
- Google Firebase Cloud Messaging — delivering push notifications.
- Railway — hosting the backend service (EU region).
- MongoDB Atlas — database (Frankfurt, EU).
- Cloudflare — DNS and hosting of this website.
Your data is primarily stored in the European Union. Some providers (for example Google) may process data in other countries under appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
Match data, team names and logos shown in the app come from public esports data sources; we do not send your personal data to them.
5. Retention
- Your app record (installation ID, push token and preferences) is deleted automatically if the app is not opened for 90 days.
- Followed matches are removed from your record after the match ends.
- Server and network logs are kept for a limited time, generally no longer than 30 days.
6. Your choices and rights
- Notifications: turn them off in the app settings or in your device settings at any time.
- Deletion: use the delete-data option in the app settings where available, or email us at support@esportscore.app and we will delete your app record. Uninstalling the app also leads to automatic deletion after 90 days.
- Depending on where you live (for example under the EU GDPR or Turkey's KVKK), you have the right to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your data, and to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
7. Children
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Security
All communication between the app and our servers is encrypted (HTTPS). Access to our systems is restricted and protected by strong credentials.
9. Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above. Material changes will be announced in the app or on this page.
